It has been rumored last week that Alice in Wonderland actress, Mia Wasikowska was in the running for the role of Johanna Mason in Catching Fire. Entertainment Weekly however, just posted a report from the actress' rep contradicting it.
Alice will not be entering the arena
According to the Alice in Wonderland star’s reps, Wasikowska has neither been approached for the role, nor would be able to play it given other film commitments she has for 2012.
So there you have it guys. Please note that any rumor, even posted by some trustworthy sources, could be NOT true. Nothing is official until Lionsgate confirms anything.
