RUMOR: Sam Claflin confirmed to play Finnick Odair in Catching Fire?

Another report has surfaced, announcing that Sam Claflin will be playing the role of Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Gossip Cop exclusively reports:

Sam Claflin will play Finnick Odair in Catching Fire, a source confirms exclusively to Gossip Cop. 

The actor recently emerged as the frontrunner for the role in The Hunger Games sequel, and Gossip Cop has learned Lionsgate will make it official in an announcement in the near future.

Zap2it already reported that Claflin was offered the role on Tuesday, but this is the first rumor that says he's been officially cast.

Both Zap2it and Gossip Cop are very credible sites, but we'll continue waiting for the official announcement from Lionsgate and still consider all of these as rumors for now.
