Bruno Gunn's brother recently talked to their hometown newspaper in Canton, OH (Canton Rep) about his brother's excitement about landing the role of Brutus in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. He also revealed some info on filming schedule and so on.
Bruno Gioielli, a 1987 Central Catholic High School graduate, has landed a supporting role in the much-anticipated “Hunger Games” sequel, “Catching Fire.”
Gioielli, who uses the professional name Bruno Gunn, is playing the role of Brutus, the victor of a previous Hunger Games who returns to be the imposing male tribute from District 2 in the 75th Hunger Games in “Catching Fire.”
“This is Bruno’s biggest role ever. It’s going to open doors for him big time,” said the actor’s understandably excited brother, Michael Gioielli. “He’s on cloud nine right now.”
“Catching Fire” will begin shooting next week in Atlanta, then the production will move to Hawaii.
“He’s got a lot of fight scenes,” Michael said. “He’s going to be on-set for at least five months.”
