VIDEO: Trailer for the 'Hunger Games' Parody Movie 'The Starving Games' released

Last year, due to The Hunger Games massive and still growing popularity, it was reported that a parody movie called "The Starving Games" was being made. Now, the first trailer for The Starving Games has been released.

SYNOPSIS:

“Good morning, hungry citizens of District 12! Don’t forget today is the Gathering Ceremony, so parents please bring your beloved children to the square for a random death lottery.” 

When lithe and fearless Kantmiss Evershot (a dead ringer for Jennifer Lawrence) volunteers to take part in the winner-takes-all STARVING GAMES, she takes on a whole lot more than we could ever have bargained for… including Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, and The Avengers.

We don't know what to think of this parody after watching this trailer. It makes it seem like Hollywood really doesn't understand The Hunger Games and just want to ride on its popularity. What are your thoughts? Tell us in the comments.
