OFFICIAL: 'Game of Thrones' star Natalie Dormer cast as Cressida in 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay'

Fandom Clash! Lionsgate has officially announced that Natalie Dormer who plays Margaery Tyrell in HBO's smash hit Game of Thrones, will be portraying the role of Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. We know Cressida as the resident director from the Capitol who joined the rebellion along with her camera crew Castor and Pollux as well as her assistant Messalla (via Wiki). This is our first official casting announcement for Mockingjay.

LIONSGATE’S THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PARTS 1 & 2

SANTA MONICA, CA August 22, 2013 – Lionsgate announced today that Natalie Dormer has joined the cast of THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PARTS 1 & 2 as the character Cressida.
Dormer currently stars as “Margaery Tyrell” on HBO’s GAME OF THRONES and will be seen in Ron Howard’s RUSH this September, as well as Ridley Scott’s THE COUNSELOR in October. She has also completed production on the indie film POSH.
Dormer is represented by Untitled Entertainment, UTA and United Agents.
