NEWS: 'Mockingjay' hiring crew for filming in Atlanta, looking for new filming locations in GA

We still have about 3 months until the release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and yet, we're already getting news about filming for the 3rd and 4th films - Mockingjay. First, the official call for resume submissions for crew positions for Mockingjay via AccessAtlanta has now been released. If you have film crew experience and are interested, read below for more info.

Mockingjay” will actually be split into two movies, sort of like the endings of the “Harry Potter” or “Twilight” franchises. Look for Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland and the rest of the Gamers to return to town soon. We’re told location scouts have been up in the north Georgia mountains searching for suitable filming locations. Last time, locations included the Swan House, Goat Farm Arts Center, Georgia World Congress Center and Marriott Marquis. Who knows, they might pop up there again.

It is also being reported that Mockingjay is looking for new filming locations in North Georgia Mountains. According to a new report again from Access Atlanta:

 “...location scouts have been up in the north Georgia mountains searching for suitable filming locations.”
