NEWS: Jennifer Lawrence Hailed As Forbes Magazine's "Most Powerful Actress"

Forbes Magazine has unveiled their 2014 Most Powerful lists and our Katniss Everdeen - Jennifer Lawrence has been hailed as the Most Powerful Actress! Jennifer cracked the Top 20 at #12 in the overall celebrity category. However, she topped the list over all other actresses, beating such calibers as Sandra Bullock and Angelina Jolie (who ranked at #2 and #3, respectively).

Apart from being a box-office superstar, playing key roles in highest-grossing franchises -- as our Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games films and Mystique/Raven in two of the X-Men films, Jennifer Lawrence has also not ceased to receive prestigious awards and accolades for her work since her top-billing film debut in Winter's Bone in 2010. At the age of just 23, Jennifer has already been nominated for 3 Academy Awards and 3 Golden Globes. She won her first Oscar and Golden Globe for her role in Silver Linings Playbook in 2013 and her second Golden Globe for American Hustle the following year. We couldn't be more proud of her.

Who says women can't be action heroes? Just 23 years old, Lawrence is proving that women can be as big a draw for blockbusters as men. "The Hunger Games" is the most successful young adult franchise since "Twilight" and her recent turn as Mystique in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" helped make the movie the highest-grossing of the franchise. Combine that box office prowess with three Oscar nominations and one win and you have the most powerful actresses in Hollywood.
