NEWS: The Hunger Games grosses a record-breaking $189.93 million in 7 days

BoxOffice.com reported that The Hunger Games drew in a record-setting total of $189.93 million in its first week, nabbing the 7th spot of the best first week starts of all time. OMG! Just (saying) writing these words gives me chills.
For the week The Hunger Games grossed a simply massive $189.93 million. That was 29.5 percent stronger than the $146.63 million one-week start of Alice in Wonderland and represented the seventh largest unadjusted seven-day start of all-time. Making this week’s performance even sweeter for the film and Lionsgate was the relatively modest price-tag of The Hunger Games by Hollywood event film standards.
Hitfix lists other huge movies that The Hunger Games beat on the 7-day gross.
(The Hunger Games) is the fastest grosser for a non-summer release as it trails just "The Dark Knight," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Pt. 2," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" among all-time one week wonders.
Some of the films "Hunger Games" has passed in its wake include "Spider-Man 3,""Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Toy Story 3" and ever major release in the "Twilight Saga."
How many times have you guys seen the movie? Are you planning of watching it again?
