According to the latest report from USA Today, The Hunger Games Trilogy is no longer the only Suzanne Collins books that are on their Best-Seller Books List for the week. Because Gregor The Overlander, first book in The Underland Series, has entered the list this week at no. 11!
Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins is taking up even more room near the top of the list this week.
A surprising addition: her 2004 novel, Gregor the Overlander: Underland Chronicles Book One, at No. 11. It’s the tale of a young boy looking for his father in the world beneath New York City.
Why the high spot for a book that made the list only once before, back in 2007, at No. 140? Perhaps because Amazon.com on Saturday offered the e-book for a one-day-only price of $1.99, 62% off list price. Meanwhile, Collins’ breakthrough Hunger Games series continues to sell strongly, holding the Nos. 6, 7 and 8 spots.
So proud and happy for Suzanne! Has any of you here read The Underland Series?
