REPORT: Patrick St. Espirit to play Romulus Thread in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire?

Variety is reporting that Sons of Anarchy actor Patrick St. Espirit has been cast as Romulus Thread in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Director Francis Lawrence has tapped "Sons of Anarchy" thesp Patrick St. Esprit to play Romulus Thread in Lionsgate's "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." 

Lionsgate had no comment. 

Ready to enforce the Capitol's law under any circumstance, Thread becomes the Head Peacekeeper of District 12 in "Catching Fire."

St. Esprit has experience playing authoritative military types, having appeared in "We Were Soldiers," "United 93," "Green Zone" and most recently, in J.J. Abrams' "Super 8." He also played police officers in recent episodes of "Rizzoli & Isles" and "NCIS: Los Angeles." Thesp is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Justice & Ponder.
