MTV has released a new deleted flashback scene from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, an extended version of a scene featured in the first film. Check it out below!

The Hunger Games has never been a franchise that acts like extreme violence and warfare just happen so that everybody can move on and start making out with the nearest Peeta. Katniss and Peeta’s slow-burning relationship was representative of the franchise as a whole, and it all culminated in Mockingjay, Part 2. 

In [this deleted flashback scene], it flashes back to Peeta’s initial training for the 74th Hunger Games. When Katniss sees that he’s being mocked by Cato and the The Careers, she jumps in to give him some strategic advice. Katniss and Peeta’s love is eternal, guys.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will be available on Digital HD on iTunes on March 8, and on Blu-ray & DVD, including the Complete 4-Film Collection on March 22.
