From executive producers Owen Ellickson and Greg Daniels, the untitled comedy pilot centers on a talented musician Craig (Robinson), who adjusts to his new life as a middle school music teacher, where he maneuvers precocious kids, teacher politics and the temptation of single moms.
Stenberg will play Irene, a spunky, fearless and smart eighth grader who is desperate to learn to sing despite her terribly off-key voice and Craig’s reluctance to teach her.
It has also been reported recently that Amandla will voice a character in the forthcoming sequel of the animated flick, Rio. The movie is set to debut on April 11th, 2014. Congratulations Amandla!
