INTERVIEW: Model Brooklyn Decker reveals that she auditioned for a role in 'Catching Fire'

Here's something unrelated to the Oscars, model/actress Brooklyn Decker revealed to Yahoo! that she is a big fan of The Hunger Games trilogy and that she auditioned for a part in the Catching Fire film.

I auditioned for ‘Hunger Games,’” she revealed. “Not for the Katniss, but for a character in the second book that I loved.” 

Not surprisingly, she’s a serious fan of the hit franchise. 

“I read the books in three days, and cried. I worshiped the books. I was like, ‘I wanna be in the movie, I wanna do it.’”

Though we’re still trying to figure out which role she was up for – Cashmere, maybe? – sadly, she didn’t get the part. 

“I was bummed, but it is not going to stop me from seeing it on opening night,” she smiled.
