UK TRIBUTES: Win Tickets to the London Premiere of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' By Singing A #MockingjayCover of 'The Hanging Tree'

We're sure many of you still have "The Hanging Tree" from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 stuck in your head and can't get over how the haunting lyrics from Suzanne Collins' final Hunger Games novel (Mockingjay) was perfectly translated on screen. Now how does winning tickets to the London Premiere of the finale - Mockingjay Part 2 simply by making a cover of the song sound?
Lionsgate UK has teamed up with YouTube Vlogger Carrie Hope Fletcher to celebrate the upcoming release of the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 by launching a singing contest where fans are to share their #MockingjayCover of Jennifer Lawrence/James Newton Howard's The Hanging Tree. YouTube vlogging sensation Carrie Hope Fletcher has joined forces with Lionsgate UK to launch an incredible new singing competition in celebration of THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1releasing on Blu-ray, DVD and Digitally from Monday 16 March 2015.

Carrie has covered the hit song “The Hanging Tree” on her YouTube channel, which is sung a cappella by Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in Mockingjay: Part 1. Due to the song’s popularity, Jennifer Lawrence scored her first UK Top 20 single with it back in December last year, so Carrie decided to work up her own version and encourage Hunger Games fans to do the same.

Entries of your take on the song need to be uploaded with the hashtag #MockingjayCover. Compliments of Lionsgate UK, Carrie will reward the best entry with a pair of tickets to THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2 premiere; this is the last film in the franchise so tickets to this event are gold dust! The premiere is due to take place late 2015.

Here are some important information about the competition from the Terms and Conditions:

• Competition closes on Tuesday 10th March, 2015 at 6pm GMT
• Entrants must be aged 12 or over and must be a resident in the UK. Entrants aged under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult to the premiere. Proof of age and residence will be required to receive the prize.
• To enter the competition, users must upload their own cover of “The Hanging Tree” as featured in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and hashtag #MockingjayCover
• Travel, accommodation and spending money are not included.
• Prize for each main winner is 1 (one) pair of tickets to the Premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part – 2 in London. Entrants must be able to attend on the day of the event.
