NEWS: Filming for Jennifer Lawrence's 'X-Men' sequel pushed to April 2013

Filming schedule for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was initially determined basing on Jennifer Lawrence's schedule, with the fact that she is also committed to another movie project, the sequel for X-Men: First Class which was supposedly set to start filming in January 2013 (this tight schedule for Catching Fire led Gary Ross to drop out of the franchise). But now, it appears that filming date for X-Men: Days of Future Past has been pushed to April 2013.
The Geek Files over at Coventry Telegraph (via CBM) reports that filming for X-Men: Days of Future Past has been pushed from a January 2013 start to an April date. The push allows not only for an extended filming ofThe Hunger Games: Catching Fire for Lawrence, but will also give Bryan Singer time to adjust the script for Days of Future Past into his vision before pre-production begins and as set begin construction.
This will take some of the pressure off Lionsgate to wrap Catching Fire by the end of the year and be able to do any necessary reshoots, and should (hopefully) allow the Mockingjay films to begin filming in fall.
