NEWS: The Hunger Games Film Series Wraps, Director Francis Lawrence Films Last Scene (UPDATED)

We all knew this was going to happen soon -- it's inevitable, but we can't help but be somewhat sad about it. The feeling of sentimentality is starting to sink in. Today is end of the principal photography for The Hunger Games film series. The cast and crew will officially wrap the 2-part finale of The Hunger Games film franchise - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2. Producer Nina Jacobson used Twitter to announce last night that actor Jeffrey Wright has now finished his work as Beetee and that filming will wrap up today. Jeffrey Wright himself took to Twitter to thank fans for all the support and to finally bid farewell to his character, District 3 Victor Beetee, that he has brought to life so perfectly.
UPDATE: Director Francis Lawrence is now only moments away from calling it a WRAP. LAST SCENE NOW BEING FILMED.
Today, we are encouraging the fans of The Hunger Games books and films to use Twitter or Facebook to express their utmost gratitude to director Francis Lawrence, producer Nina Jacobson, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Donald Sutherland, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, and the entire cast and crew for doing this remarkable story justice and for bringing Suzanne Collins' world to life so brilliantly with the hashtag #ThankYouTHGCast.

To the entire production team of The Hunger Games films, on behalf of The Hunger Games fandom (Tributes) and TheHungerGamers.net, THANK YOU and May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor!
